First half analysis between Netherland and Brazil

With eight minutes gone Brazil are totally imposing their game and take the control of the match. 10 minutes gone and Brazil are 1-0 up thanks to Robinho dubbed “the little prince” who scores his second goals in four matches with Melo at the center of the action. Brazilian Class, Brazilian Goaaaaaaaaaaaaaaal.

25 minutes gone and Arjen Robben is left to run after shadows, diving and forced to defend. The Brazilian defense is up to the task and are abording every Dutch attack. Brazilian midfield is suffocating the game and the Dutch are left to watch samba all over the pitch.

Crazy combination from Brazil in the 30th minutes involving Robinho, Fabiano and Kaka who received the last ball and curled it attempting to reach the right corner but briliant save from the Dutch Keeper.

Carlos Dunga the Brazilian coach in the 38th minute is left frustrated by the lack of quality from the referee in the 38th minutes and has been told by the 4th referee to calm down. I wish he’d told his colleague to improve. They’ve been so many yellow card that i doubt this game will end with 22 players on the pitch.

It’s all over in the first half and i wonder how the Dutch will over come this beautiful Brazilian team. The Dutch had couple of beautiful penetration with Arjen Robben and Dirk Kuyt on each side of the Brazilian defense.

With what i have seen if Arjen Robben do not compose himself it will be the quater-finals for Holland and no more unless the referee makes a bad judgement. 🙂
